Why no Solar Power in Las Vegas?

CityCenter Project
Get ready for a new city in a city with the CityCenter Project, located between Monte Carlo and the Bellagio on the Las Vegas Strip. This is the largest (most expensive) private construction project in the history of the world, and at a proposed $9 billion Numerous condos, time share units, one casino and dozens of restaurants will be created in the CityCenter. Estimated fully completion date is 2011, however some of the project will open late 2009.

Solar Power
Why hasn't Las Vegas adopted any solar power energy solutions? They have lots of sun and lots of light, it sounds like they go hand in hand. Maybe with the new CityCenter project we will see some solar technology in Las Vegas.

You can bring the solar power to the strip. What better place to bring a mono solar charger than to Las Vegas. There is plenty of sun during the days and at night you can spend the money you saved on batteries. Check into the CityCenter and have fun in the city of lights (but no solar), Las Vegas.
